El Rodeo is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Greater Lafayette area. The food is consistently very good and we love the laid back atmosphere. Our favorite waitress is Rosa!

Mexican food Indiana? First if you’re visiting Lafayette, IN. It in itself is a great city. The restaurant is decorated nicely in vibrant colors. The server was great, friendly, attentive & no judgement cause I ordered a lot. So I had a large house margarita. Honestly it’s huge for like two people. The salsa was great. I ordered 3 carna asada tacos on corn tortillas. They were so good 10/10 fresh they are very big as well. Rice and beans were also great. Then I order the shrimp cocktail, it was perfect only thing is I wish the shrimp was cut or smaller. I really enjoyed the food and was super full.
El Rodeo has fantastic food. They are appropriately spacing out seating and wearing masks through the pandemic while being particular about cleaning in between seatings. The food was delicious with great pricing. Would easily come back again.
The food was excellent and priced very well. Ther portion sizes were generous and everything tasted fresh! We were only in town for 2 days but if we come back, we will go back there to eat!
